Today I went thrifting and stumbled upon a hole-in-the-wall antique store. Inside there were postcards with a section titled as "Duluth." I couldn't resist; I had to buy one. Based on the cars and the Art-Deco architecture of the Medical Arts Building, I estimate that this postcard is from the 1940's.
One the back the description says:
"The Medical Arts Building, the home of the Duluth Chamber of Commerce, is the newest large office building in Duluth. It has all of the latest modern improvements, and its appointments are of the very finest."
